It’s easy to keep your hats clean with Hat Saver. Just follow the simple instructions below in the exact order.
1. Use only on a CLEAN, NEW HAT
2. Spray Hat Saver ONLY on the OUTSIDE of the hat - DO NOT spray on the headband inside of the hat.
3. Spray Hat Saver on the areas where you would normally sweat. We recommend spraying the entire bill of the hat, up about 2 inches on the front of the hat around the sides and back. However, if you normally sweat out the entire hat, then treat the entire hat.
4. Spray 3 coats and wait to dry in between. Hold bottle 2-3 inches from hat. Spray 3 coats evenly over the outside of the hat where sweat can accumulate, specifically where the bill and hat connect. Spray until you can see the fabric is becoming wet. DO NOT SOAK. If too heavy, there could be bleeding of colors. Wait until dry in between applications. Be sure all areas are fully covered. After final coat, ALLOW TO DRY 12-18 HOURS before wearing. For extra protection, you can add another coat after fully cured. Periodic applications continue to improve repellency.
5. If you find a spot that was not fully treated the first time, wash spot immediately and re-apply as necessary.
